per packet — the whole thing, no tiers, no surprises

The state's fee is separate. A Texas birth certificate is $22, paid by your check directly to the state — you put it in the return envelope yourself. We never charge you the state's fee and we never touch that money.

We're not the state. RecordPak isn't affiliated with Texas DSHS. We prepare your paperwork; the state issues the record on their timeline — currently about 5–6 weeks by mail, and we'll always tell you that up front.

Some steps stay yours. You'll sign the form by hand, write in a few private fields, and get it notarized — the state requires it. We make everything around that painless and tell you exactly what to expect.
